An Australian Alpine Tradition
Rundells Alpine Lodge has now reopened its doors in the heart of Dinner Plain, reviving the sophisticated and gracious hospitality for year round alpine travellers.
The lodge has been named in recognition of a history dating back to 1904 when Charlie and Catherine Rundell originally opened the lodge on Flour Bag Plain, adjacent to what is now Dinner Plain village. Charlie and Catherine were pioneers in the area and were at the forefront of early alpine hospitality.
